Born in Italy, Roberto enjoys experiencing foreign languages and cross-cultural interaction. His background in liberal arts and community journalism created opportunities to work and play in Mexico, Spain and the US, yet the "The City by the Bay" and its vibrant Italian-American community, eventful history, and open-mindedness has him fully embracing all that is San Francisco.

Aisle or Window

Window. When traveling, I enjoy people watching or observing the landscape changing outside, it keeps me engaged with the world around me.

Hidden Gem

The Tiled Steps on 15th and 16th avenue, with an incredible vista on Golden Gate Park and the Pacific Ocean from Grandview Park. In California, I would say Hearst Castle and Point Reyes.

Ideal Sunday

Weather permitting, relaxing at Baker Beach or Ocean Beach, after a scenic hike at Lands’ End.

Travel Item

My electric razor, a good book and some good music.

You Must Know

Bring your summer and winter clothes, and please don’t call it Frisco.

Bucket List

It’s hard to pick one, so I will say at least two: Peru and Japan.

My Role

Being able to interact with people from all over the world, sharing my passion and learning from them. Also, not staring at a screen all day.
