Aisle or Window

Definitely window for shorter, daytime flights to look at the scenery. Aisle for longer/night flights.

Hidden Gem

The view of the bridge from Fort Point. Only a fraction of the visitors who go to the other viewpoints, but very dramatic view, historic fort, and, often, surfers.

Ideal Sunday

Working in my garden.

Travel Item

Bathing suit, to use hotel hot tubs — nice to relax after a day of touring.

You Must Know

Get your Alcatraz tickets at least 6 weeks ahead in summer, and pack warm clothes! Avoid traveling on holiday weekends since you’ll mostly spend your time in traffic.

Being able to share such beautiful places with visitors from around the world.
