EXPERIENCE AMBASSADOR
A 35-year resident of Asheville, I have been in leadership positions within the tourism industry here both in my position as an executive of The Biltmore Company as well as in my role as a member of the Buncombe County Tourism Authority Board of Directors. I have three nationally published cookbooks, including one containing the history of the city. I've also had the great honor of welcoming and escorting a lengthy list of public figures including HRH Prince Charles, Walter Cronkie, Lady Bird Johnson, singer Judy Collins, Bill and Melinda Gates. I had also had the pleasure of being the recipient of premiere travel experiences so my goal is to strive for equal standards of excellence. Asheville is my home. I am proud of my community and love its creative spirit.

Asheville has a remarkably diverse and creative culinary community with over 100 independent restaurants -- including two recently recognized with James Beard Awards. I have deep and meaningful relationships with the restaurants in our city and believe they provide our guests versatile options to taste and toast Asheville.
I'm a grandmother! But I also play keyboards in a garage band.
